WCMY: Concerned about national debt, Cong. Kinzinger says relief bill must be done
Cong. Adam Kinzinger says the relief package sent to Pres. Trump Friday isn’t perfect, but taking the actions in it is imperative.
The Channahon Republican says the impact the $2.2 trillion bill will have on the national debt is a big concern. Kinzinger highlights $30 billion in emergency education funding, $16 billion for buying personal protective equipment and ventilators, and $300 million for rural hospitals.
