WIFR: Chicago-Rockford International Airport announces new expansion project

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Nearly 1.4 billion pounds of cargo traveled through the Chicago-Rockford International Airport in 2017, a 50 percent increase compared to the year before. Thanks to continued federal funding, the airport is once again looking to expand its footprint.
